This is the second volume in our series of Swahili language guides.
Students will make most progress if they first complete Swahili for Beginners by the same authors. Like the earlier book, Swahili Intermediate Level enables students to study on their own or with a trainer. Answers to exercises are provided at the end of the book. To benefit fully, students should be able to converse in basic Swahili.
Our aim is to improve students’ competence in speaking, listening to, reading and writing Swahili. This is achieved by the study of grammar as well as through stories, questions and answers, pictures and puzzles. Audio lissons are designed to go hand in hand with the book.
It is our hope that students will move further towards mastery of the Swahili language and enjoy the process of doing so.
